Summary

I started out as a business analyst before moving into software development, so I make a point of understanding whose problem a feature solves before I build it.

I turn business processes into working software for corporate clients across a range of industries, and I also work on helping those organizations adopt AI tools, from setup through to training.

Experience

  1. February 2026 – Present

    Software developer

    Lab2023 Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. · Denizli, Türkiye

I build corporate web applications on Ruby on Rails 8, PostgreSQL and Hotwire. I work with clients across several industries and take end-to-end ownership on each project, from gathering requirements through to shipping to production.

    Software development

    • Building new modules from scratch and extending existing systems with new functionality
    • Third-party system and API integrations, data export and reporting features
    • Shared infrastructure such as authentication, authorization and sharing flows
    • Pull request and code review, plus staging and production releases

    AI solutions

    • Developing tools for MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that connect client systems to AI assistants
    • Taking part in the setup and configuration of enterprise AI solutions
    • Contributing to Claude setup and training sessions delivered to client organizations
    • R&D on agents, skills and Claude Code plugin configurations

    Process and client work

    • Working with the Shape Up methodology: writing pitches, planning cycles, shaping scope
    • Joining client meetings, presenting end-of-cycle demos, and turning requests into scoped work
    • Walking non-technical users through the features I build
  2. July 2025 – September 2025

    Software developer

    Lab2023 Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. · Denizli, Türkiye

First worked with the Ruby on Rails ecosystem and supported development on ongoing projects.

  3. May 2025 – February 2026

    Business analyst

    Hantürk Gayrimenkul · Denizli, Türkiye

Analyzed sales, portfolio and front-office processes and defined the needs for digitalizing them.

    • Identified operational bottlenecks and presented alternative solutions
    • Ran requirements analysis and proposed a development prioritization plan
    • This field experience fed directly into my later work building software for the same domain
  4. August 2024 – September 2024

    IT intern

    Kartal Municipality · İstanbul, Türkiye

Community and event experience

  1. 2020 – 2022

Projects

  1. September 2026 – Present

    Verba

A vocabulary and study-planning app for Turkish learners of English preparing for the YDS exam. You keep your own word lists, study them with Turkish meanings, synonyms, antonyms and example sentences, and test yourself; your weekly plan and to-dos live in the same place. It installs on a phone as an app and sends reminders, and its MCP server lets AI assistants such as Claude manage your words and plan directly.

    • Ruby on Rails
    • Hotwire
    • PostgreSQL
    • Tailwind CSS
    • Solid Queue
    • Web Push
    • PWA
    • MCP
  2. Finlab

An investing app with virtual money: buy and sell currencies, Turkish and US stocks, crypto and gold at live prices, and follow your portfolio, realized profit and loss and account history. Multi-currency wallets, commission rules and server-drawn live charts are there to answer one question with correct numbers: what would I have earned if I had invested? It's in development and on hold for now; next I plan to connect news sources and add AI-driven finance bots.

    • Ruby on Rails
    • Hotwire
    • PostgreSQL
    • Tailwind CSS
    • Solid Queue
    • Yahoo Finance
    • Google OAuth
    • PWA
  3. Resmî Gazete İlan Takip

Tracks public-sector job announcements in the "Çeşitli İlânlar" section of Turkey's Official Gazette, so instead of reading PDFs you can filter positions by title, discipline, education requirement and exam score. Announcements are modelled with their corrections as institution, announcement, position and requirement, and an MCP server feeds new announcements into the system. It's in development and on hold for now.
